- JOAQUIN MAGRAZO FERNANDO USED ARQUITECTOS ASOCIADOS S.L fué ganadora del Segundo Premio, quedando desierto el primero, y seleccionada para realizar el proyecto, entre más de 35 candidatos y su dirección de obra, de la rehabilitación integral de la sede del Banco Nacional de Varsovia (BGK).
The proposal envisages the comprehensive rehabilitation of the office building at the Central Headquarters of BGK, BANK GOSDODARSTWA KRAJOWEGO. It develops an extensive functional program to be implemented in several phases and is compatible with the comprehensive rehabilitation of this historic building located on Aleje Jerozolimskie Street in Warsaw, with an area of over 19,132 m², which survived World War II.
Each construction phase includes actions of reconstruction, conservation, restoration, and expansion of the existing space, integrating the most modern techniques and technologies to meet the client's needs. With the proposed actions and within the economic conditions of the tender, the building achieved high energy efficiency, reaching category B+.
The estimated budget for the project is 68,000,000 PLN / 16,450,000 EUR.
An energy-efficient and renewable energy system has been planned to ensure environmental sustainability in the building during its operation. The building's design incorporates the utilization of heat energy provided by solar energy based on the bioclimatic design, incorporating mechanical ventilation systems.
INGENIERÍA TORNÉ will be responsible for the design and subsequent construction management of all the facilities.
