INGENIERÍA TORNÉ S.L. carried out, at the request of the Jaca Hospital Consortium, the renovation project for the air conditioning system at Jaca Hospital.
Due to issues that occurred at the hospital during two consecutive winters (2009 and 2010), the Aragon Health Service and the Jaca Hospital Consortium commissioned Ingeniería Torné S.L. with the renovation project for the hospital's air conditioning system.
The issues that occurred since the hospital was expanded in 2009 were the continuous breakdown of the air conditioning unit coils during winters.
The renovation project involved the hydraulic separation of the external air conditioning circuits of the hospital.
The works were carried out by AMBITEC EIFFAGE in 2011, completely solving the problem. The hospital's air conditioning system operated correctly during the winters of 2012 and 2013, with maximum external temperatures of -20ºC recorded on the hospital's roof.
