The building is newly constructed and includes hospitalization areas (212 beds), Emergency Department, CCEE (Central Sterilization and Equipment Center), Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical Block, Obstetric Block, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Rehabilitation, Laboratories, Sterilization, Teaching, General Services, Parking, etc.

The construction is being carried out by the Joint Venture (UTE) NUEVO HOSPITAL DEL ALCAÑIZ, formed by the companies OHL and DRAGADOS.
